Coping with power peaks in electrical machines and systems – without oversizing
Smart Operation Point with its associated dynamic temperature model
The need to provide power peaks in electrical machines, e.g. for shredding or pressing, can lead to overdimensioning of the drive design. With the implementation of the dynamic temperature model, the utilization and thus the thermal load of the servocontroller can be recorded. The maximum utilization of the electric drives during power peaks is safely monitored. As a result, the drive can be made smaller and unnecessary costs for a larger device can be avoided.
