Live-Stream: Detecting and preventing wear in servo hydraulics
Baumüller drives offer a large number of hydraulic functions for the variable-speed operation of internal gear pumps. In addition to an intelligent control for pressure and volume flow, the drives of the b maXX servo controller family have an automated determination of the pump leakage. This makes it possible to draw conclusions about the wear condition of the pump and to parameterize pump protection functions. Pump wear can thus be prevented in the long term.

Webcast: Data, data, data and no end in sight
The flood of data is getting bigger and bigger: New tasks and higher requirements make communication via fieldbuses in modern machines and systems more and more complex. The integration into the IIoT also increases the amount of data. Automation providers are reacting to this trend by developing new, more powerful field buses. At the same time, the demands on the computing power of the control are growing. One solution is to shift intelligence to the drive. This relieves the load on field buses and the central control system and makes the automation system leaner and more scalable. The webcast will show which challenges machine builders face and which intelligent drive concepts can be used to set up alternative topologies: An insight into how data volumes in the fieldbus are reduced, central controls are relieved and machines and systems become more productive.
Webcast: Motor breakdown? Drive simulation helps.
The life time of your motor is not long enough? The processes in your machines cause strong vibrations or shocks and your motors don’t stand the stress? We have good news: From the beginning of the machine design process there are possibilities to use simulation to improve the motor’s lifetime. The basis is the measurement, analysis and simulation of the shock-load and vibration strength. The knowledge gained empowers drive engineers to see the changes that will extend the motor’s service life. This webcast will inform you about mechanical stress in electric machines, the problems these may cause, how to reveal the real problem and suggestions to improve the shock and vibration resistance of electric motors.

Webcast: When does a change to servo-hydraulic pump drives make sense?
Switching to servo-hydraulic systems offers the best of both worlds for machine manufacturers: A high force and power density combined with high efficiency. The benefits are achieved by using synchronous motors that precisely adapt the pump's volume and pressure control to the respective cycle step of the machine by adjusting the motor speed. In the webcast you will learn more about the advantages of servo-hydraulic drives and their fields of application.
Webcast: Successfully integrating direct drive technology in your machines
Because there are no gears, direct drives, offer numerous advantages over traditional motor-transmission combinations, such as greater compactness, high energy efficiency and low service costs. Which applications benefit from this? When is a change really worth while? To get to the bottom of these issues, our experts will take a look at the different drive options available. In the webcast you will also receive interesting information on other advantages of direct drive technology, the different installation options and reference projects.
Webcast: Direktantriebstechnik erfolgreich in Ihre Maschinen integrieren
