A strong network for maritime innovations

Baumüller becomes a member of the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany (MCN)

Baumüller Maritimes Cluster Norddeutschland web (f.l.t.r.): Violetta Arndt, Andreas Born and Prof. Bastian Gruschka from the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany, welcome Stefan Krahn as a new member of the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany on behalf of Baumüller Anlagen-Systemtechnik

When it comes to sharpening our focus on innovation and developing new solutions, a strong network is essential. Only through lively exchange can impulses be generated and ideas successfully realized. The Maritime Cluster Northern Germany is committed to doing just that – promoting cooperation in the northern German maritime industry. Both parties were delighted that Baumüller Anlagen-Systemtechnik was accepted as a full member by the MCN board and management.

“As part of the cluster network, we are jointly tapping into the future potential of the shipping industry,” says Thomas Scholz, Sales Manager and Member of the Management Board at Baumüller Anlagen-Systemtechnik. Baumüller has been offering efficient and future-oriented drive solutions for a wide range of ship types for many years. Participation in the MCN now opens up further opportunities for exchange and cooperation for both sides.

With over 350 members from business, science, and politics, the MCN is an influential maritime network.

The official admission to the MCN took place at the beginning of September during the SMM in Hamburg, one of the world’s leading trade fairs for the maritime industry.
