Marine Hybrid Solutions (MHS) is making its debut at Nor-Shipping 2025 with a clear mission: to support the maritime industry with smarter energy strategies and fully integrated power systems. Whether it’s a hybrid or fully electric power and energy system, our job is to ensure shipowners, designers, and yards make better decisions from the start—and operate more efficiently over time.
From Design to Operation – Your Energy Strategy
At MHS, we do more than integrate components. We act as an energy strategist—helping our customers optimize, integrate, and operate smarter power and energy systems for their vessels.
Founded in late 2023 by Anlegg og Marine Service, Baumüller Anlagen-Systemtechnik GmbH & Co KG, and Nogva Holding, Marine Hybrid Solutions brings together decades of hands-on engineering, integration, and service experience.
Leading the company is Børge Nogva, a seasoned maritime executive with a background in automation, electronics, and ship system integration from roles at Ulstein, Rolls-Royce, GE, and Høglund.
“Our role is to ensure every vessel is optimized—not just at launch, but across its lifetime,” says Børge Nogva, CEO of Marine Hybrid Solutions. “We combine deep technical knowledge with real operational insight to help our customers reduce costs, operate predictably, and meet tough regulatory demands.”
Smart Systems, Data-Driven Decisions
Every system we deliver starts as a digital model, allowing us to simulate real-world performance before anything is built. This approach helps our customers reduce fuel consumption, lower total cost of ownership, and make confident design decisions early in the process.
Through simulation, digital twins, and real-time analytics, we help shipowners and operators understand their systems better—and run them more efficiently. From concept design to onboard troubleshooting, we bring insight that improves both performance and predictability.
At Nor-Shipping, visitors can explore how our design optimization tools and digital twin technology support better decisions—from concept design to day-to-day operations.
