Marine expansion in Greece

Baumüller and Oceanking join forces

Together with an additional partner in Greece, Baumüller is further expanding its marine business. With Oceanking S.A., Baumüller aims to drive stronger growth in the local market for electrification solutions. Headquartered in Piraeus, Oceanking will support the sales and distribution of drive systems for the shipbuilding industry moving forward. The groundwork for the collaboration began in late 2025 and was officially finalized with the signing of the contract in May.

“We are excited to work with Oceanking to further drive innovations in ship propulsion, charging stations, and electrification in Greece,” says Andreas Baumüller, Managing Partner of the Baumüller Group.

Baumüller’s long-standing representative, Alpha Motion S.A., remains unaffected by this and will continue to focus unchanged on the component business for mechanical and plant engineering in Greece.

Sales partner with long-standing experience

Oceanking S.A. was founded in 1989 and is a leading engineering and commercial company serving both the Greek and international maritime industries. Its focus is on the supply and support of marine equipment, consulting services, and shipbuilding for newbuilds, conversions, and ship operations. The company is headquartered in Piraeus, Greece.
