With the introduction of SAP S4/HANA, the Nuremberg drive and automation specialist Baumüller is focusing on new technological options and expansion of the digitalization of business processes. The aim of the project is to further optimize and accelerate internal workflows and processes to enable it to continue to offer the best possible customer service in the future too.
With the introduction of S/4HANA, Baumüller is investing in its digital future. The transformation affects all areas of business and is intended to be the basis of even faster customer support and shorter decision-making processes:
“I am very pleased that we have taken this joint decision for a future-proof, uniform, scalable, and Group-wide solution. Together, we are now working with intense focus to use synergy effects to service our customers even more successfully. The SAP project is a central component of our future strategy”, emphasized Andreas Baumüller, Managing Partner of the Baumüller Group.
Automating and simplifying processes
The aim is to achieve even faster response times through automated and clear processes: “As a medium-sized company, Baumüller’s focus is on its customers. We want to create a central data structure and grow in an economically feasible manner. To achieve this, we use the tried and tested S/4HANA solution of SAP and with the All for One Group , we have opted for a partner who has plenty of project experience in the implementation of SAP in mechanical engineering companies,” Andreas Baumüller explained further.
The project partner All for One not only contributes its S/4HANA know-how, but also valuable experience in business process management and project management. The project will be managed by Baumüller CIO (Chief Information Officer) Peter von Minnigerode together with Klaus Angerer of All for One.
